Battery Capacity Error Message - Can Battery Be Replaced at Home
Is it possible to purchase a battery for my MacBook Air online and then replace the battery at home?

Mac batteries are considered not user-replaceable for a lot of reasons, safety being among the most important. Batteries contain a lot of potentially hazardous energy, and can be dangerous if handled, stored, or installed in an improper manner. If your MacBook Air remains supported by Apple, then by all means have them do it.
