I was making a back up of my MacBook using Time Machine, I closed my MacBook as I had to head out, but now when I press the Time Machine icon on top it says "Waiting to complete first back up". It's been stuck at this for a few minutes so I don't really know what to do. Should I click the "Back up now" button or will this make a complete new backup? Or should I just wait a bit longer?

Verify the Backup Process:
Click "Enter Time Machine" and you would see if it is, in fact, backing up. The first backup takes a long time.
