Air pod pairing

I only have one air pod pro my other one is broken and it won’t let me pair just the one to my phone do I need a replacement for my one air pod to work ? It just blinks white but won’t pair

If you tried theses steps:

If your left or right AirPod isn't working - Apple Support

then the next thing might be to get the serial number and then contact Apple Support for a replacement. Then learn how to set up your replacement.
