My App Store won’t use my balance

I have a balance in my Apple funds but when I do an in-app purchase it uses my credit card instead. How can I fix this?

I can’t use Apple ID balance to purchase app Hi there, I am trying to purchase an app using my Apple ID balance, I have £13.65 on my balance and the app costs £4.49. When I go to purchase the app it only gives me the option to pay for it using my card, I have used my balance to purchase other apps but for some reason it’s not giving me the option of using my credit. I can’t work out how to change the payment type. The Monzo card is the only payment option it gives me. I don’t want to use my card to buy the app as I still have balance credit I’d like to use up. Can’t use Apple Account Balance I have an Apple account balance of 25 dollars but whenever I try to make an in-app purchase it tells me it is unable to complete purchase. What gives?
