backup for iphone not showing in finder

I recently downloaded OS Monterey (12.0.1) on my 2015 MacBook air and backed up my iPhone 7. It shows in my backup folder, but when I try to restore backup to my new iPhone SE (2nd Gen) it doesn't show it nor can I select "restore backup..." it's not selectable. And when I look in my "Manage backups" it doesn't show...but I see it in my library/applicationsupport/mobilesync/backup folder backed up ... I've restarted my computer and my phone, but still no change.

Help.
