Update a Day or Two Later:
Next time you go about updating your iPhone, wait it out for a few days --like I do. That way I can avoid bugs that are reported.
Moreover, report this to Apple. They need to know about it, to fix it.
Do your Part: Use the Apple Feedback forums to report this to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but if this is a known bug, then the more feedback Apple receives on it, then the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed.
- Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
- Select: "Bug Report" for "Feedback Type"
- Inform Apple: of how you came across this issue, and how you've troubleshot it thus far.
- Proceed from there as necessary
