Sometimes, my phone, after being in my pocket, comes out in an extreme zoom mode. I have a hard time getting it out of this or even resetting the phone because the zoom doesn’t let me get to the reset button.

Do you have accessibility turned on on your iPhone? If so it could be either the power button being triggered into accessibility or something else on screen.
