After update to Mac OS Mojave my Bluetooth mouse won't connect with MacBook

Hi there,

I updated today my Macbook to MacOS Mojave. The Bluetooth mouse I used on MacOS Big Sur isn't connecting. Everytime I try to connect, it stops. If I hit the connect button another time, a code is asked, but there is no code needed. The mouse functioned on the same day with Big Sur.

I read some articles. I deleted the plist-file in the library. I restarted, I put new batteries in and I pushed the Connect-Button on the mouse a hundred times.

Please help!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

  • Hold down the Power button for 10 seconds and release.
  • Reconnect the battery and power adapter.

Greetings Ueaydin,

We understand that you are having some difficulty with a third party mouse, and we'd like to help. If the mouse is not connecting, you'[ll want to contact the manufacturer directly for assistance, and to check software compatibility.

Take care.

Thank you for your answer. I’m sure that’s not a problem of the manufacturer. I used this mouse on Big sure when I was installing Mojave. This problem occurred after the installation. The Bluetooth manager “finds” the mouse but cannot establish a connection.

Ueaydin,

Thanks for the additional information. The next step will be to contact the manufacturer of the mouse you are having difficulty with, as it may not be compatible with the current version of macOS that you are trying to use.

Cheers.
