Home videos

Home sharing is fine when it works, but this means I have to have a Mac to watch my videos.

How do people without a Mac save, store their say 8gbs of home videos so they can watch them anywhere??

This means I cannot view more than the space on my iPad - yes eventually they are returned to iCloud, but until then they use up space on my iPad? if I want to view them on my TV via Apple TV iCloud Drive is not available. yes I have home sharing, but this seems to mean I must have an iMac.

Home Videos Cloud Storage Hi I have created various videos of our holidays in iMovie, exported as a file and saved them in the Apple TV app under "Home Videos". I'm looking for the best way these would be accessible on all devices such as Apple TV and iPhone. IE I'd like my family to be able to turn on the Apple TV and choose which video they'd like. I've tried moving the entire Apple TV library to the cloud but that didn't work. I'd like to avoid using something like YouTube / Vimeo if possible. Thanks

You can sync your Home VIdeos to an iOS device and watch them on it, or use AirPlay if you have access to an Apple TV in another location.
