On iPad Pro (5th Gen), Facebook comments can’t be accessed, app freezes after install of iOS 15.1

I own an iPad Pro (5th Gen). I updated to the iOS to version 15.1. Now Facebook comments can’t be seen and the Facebook app itself freezes up when I try, forcing me to close the app and open it again (though I still can’t click on ‘COMMENTS’ without the app freezing). Clearing caches, deleting the Facebook, shutting down the iPad, waiting several minutes, then re-starting the iPad, and re-downloading the Facebook app has not worked. The problem IS NOT linked to my iPhone. The problem IS NOT my Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, internet connection (broadband), nor internet bandwidth. I have the most recent Facebook updates installed. The problem discussed happened only after installing iOS version 15.1.
