Siri has stopped working and when I say "hey siri" it says "sorry I didn't get that". However, if I set up type to siri it does answer verbally. There must be some setting that is wrong. Any ideas please.

What happens when you try to use your Home button to engage with Siri? Do you get the same results?
If you continue to have issues with this, you may want to Contact Apple Support to have them look into this further.

The suggestion didn't help. Siri can't hear my "hey siri". it must be some setting that has gone wrong.
with siri set up, it it doesn't hear me. Type to siri does workbut i've turned that off.
