Save and Play downloaded Videos from my apple TV to my external hard drive
I have purchased and downloaded videos from apple TV but I need to save it and play it from my external hard drive when I do not have WiFi. How do I do that?

Playing protected content from one device to another (Home Sharing or AirPlay) always requires an online connection to verify authorization. In an offline situation, you have to view it on the device that did the download (e.g. Mac).
