Mouse pointer defaults to "resize column" instead of arrow in Finder after Monterey Upgrade (on M1 Mac)

See if the same problem occurs in Safe Mode. To start in Safe Mode in an M1 Mac, press and HOLD the power button until you get a screen with startup options.

If, as I expect, the problem does not occur in Safe Mode, then we will know that it is related to something that loads in your account when you boot normally. To find out what it may be: Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.

• Safe Mode was not tested.
• Restart did solve the problem for now

have the same issue on M1 mac and Montery. I'm using a logitech M705 mouse.

Did you test in Safe Mode? Does the problem persist after restart?
