Connecting to iTunes to unlock iPhone 12

Trying to unlock my iPhone 12, which locked up on me & refused to acknowledge my passcode. Now I've got it hooked to my computer & it says to connect to iTunes, but I'm not having any luck doing that. Please advise.

Connect iPhone to Computer / Mac


Settings > Touch/Face ID & Passcode > USB Accessories > [Enable]


You haven't mentioned whether you have a PC or Mac. However...


  1. Use your USB lightening cable --> Resolve USB-related alerts in iTunes - Apple Support
