I bought a second-hand MBP 2017. I don't like macOS Big Sur, so I downgraded the MacBook into 10.15.7.
The problem is that I can't download the iWork series. I have purchase records in my account so the download button (cloud shape) appears, but when I click that it just says that this app requires macOS 11.
I have nothing installed in this Mac. Any thoughts?
Launch the Mac App Store and be signed in with your Apple ID. Press the cmd+0 (zero) button to bring up the past purchases panel. If there is a Keynote entry with an Update button, click that. You will get the dialog that you need macOS 11 or later, but if you are truly fortunate, it may offer a second dialog to install the last compatible version of Keynote (v11.1) for Catalina.
If the first paragraph still doesn't get Keynote, then you are done with getting it for Catalina. You will need to resort to using Keynote for iCloud, or Keynote v11.1 in iOS/iPadOS v14.8, or Keynote v11.2 in iOS/iPadOS 15.1 (or later).
Apple provides no user download site for past full installers of Pages, Numbers, or Keynote, and select other layered applications.
