i have the latest version of itunes, but still can't restore my phone, I keep getting a message to say i need the latest version of itunes, but i already do(12.10.11)

I have bad news: 12.10.11 was the last version to support Windows 7 and 8, but it is not “the latest version of iTunes.” You would need Windows 10 or 11 now.
