Include external volume in Time Machine backup… problem

Hi there,

normally you can not only back up a Mac's internal hard drive with Time Machine, but also an external one ...

Now that's exactly what doesn't work on my MacBook 2019.

The external hard drive is an ssd and is connected to the MacBook via usb-c, but does not appear in the list of volumes excluded by Time Machine, which is why I cannot remove it from this list, of course ...

Time Machine itself backs up to an external volume that is displayed in this list, but won’t backup the not shown external ssd.

Does anyone have a tip?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.6
