I do not have sound from the internal speakers
My internal speakers are not working on Mac computer.
iMac 27″, macOS 10.15
if a headset or speaker set is connected to the headset connector they would mute by defualt
otherwise I would look in system prefrences audio to see if another audio output option had been picked
