Movies in TV app crash upon load.

Running Monterey 12.0.1 on 14" MBP (2021). When I try to play a movie in the TV app, it just crashes.

I have never been able to finish any Apple TV movie on this Macbook. Usually the movies stop after more than 30 minutes streaming, today I try to watch, the movie stops playing after 2 minutes. The internet speed shows 40+ Mbps. I also try to download Apple TV movies several times, it never works every time. No progress shows after 9 or 11 percent downloading. Using same internet source/wifi, I try to watch Apple TV movies on my iPhone, nothing problem happen, I can fully watch all Apple TV movies (I don't try to download Apple TV movies on my iPhone yet since my iPhone memory is very low). So what should I do to fix this problem?

In macOS Monterey tv app, home videos category crashing Ever since I updated to macOS Monterey 12.3 when I go to my tv app then the home videos section, soon as I click on home videos from the side menu I get a spinning beach ball then the whole tv app crashes. I deleted all my home videos and imported them again then it was fixed. But after restarting and using the app again same thing happens. Its not doing this when I try to play any video, but just going to that home videos category crashes it. When I go to any other category like Movies, Tv Shows, Recently Added - its fine. Only going to Home Videos it crashes the whole app every time.

"Video unavailable there is a problem loading this video" I can watch Apple+ perfectly well on a Windows Laptop but for the last few days I have been getting this message when I try to watch shows via my TV streaming device (Firestick), the recap of previous episodes play but when it should start to play the next episode... it stops and shows the message. I reset the Apple TV app and logged in as normal...same 'problem' happens again. Tried the Video Troubleshooting and it passed the tests. I watch via a 4K Firestick. Disney+; Prime; Paramount+; YouTube; Netflix all play videos without a problem, I went on a couple of other forum sites and other folk experience the same 'problem' with videos aborting and not continuing to play. On the forum a suggestion is to disable the analytical reporting on the app...didn't work for me. 'For All Mankind' would not play episode 4, so I skipped to the next episode and all was 'well' until the app stopped working properly altogether. I don't understand how videos work up to a point before aborting. Very frustrating indeed. Tried Apple support but they were at a loss as to how to 'fix' the problem. A conspiracy theorist might tell me it is Apple's way to try to get you to upgrade from an Amazon Firestick to an expensive AppleTV 'box'. I think I shall have to start pairing my Windows laptop to my TV and watch that way from now on...hardly a good 'fix'. Anybody got any other ideas please and thank you.

If you can't watch or stream movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app

If the issue persists, let us know if this occurs with multiple movies. Does the issue occur when connected to a different Wi-Fi network? Be sure to include any other troubleshooting steps that you may have tried.

I feel stupid. I forgot to authorize my new computer. Once I authorized everything worked fine.
