My new iPhone 13 pro max can’t handle the game PUBG mobile. Even iPhone XR can run this game smoothly but why can’t the most powerful iPhone ever created can’t?. It is always lagging, frame dropping and screen stuttering.
I thought this issue only happened to me! I am using iPhone 13 Pro, but yes often the touch isn't registered, which is so weird, even after updating to iOS 15.1. Are you experiencing same issue? Because of this, I still have to use old iPhone XR for playing games, which still performs better than iPhone 13 Pro.

My issue is not about the app crashing or not working. It is not performing good enough. Other older versions of iPhones handle this game smoothly while phone 13 pro max is full of frame drops, desynchronisation and screen stuttering. As a competitive player I can’t afford to have that kind of response from this phone.

Omg yeah exactly the same issue. I have updated to iOS 15.1 and no difference. I have tried call of duty and it was lagging as well. This is so frustrating that the most powerful device we holding can’t perform well in these games?
I have seen people playing games on iphone 8 plus and there isn’t any single frame drop.
I just got my iPhone 13 pro max two days ago. Haven't tried to play any games in my phone yet, I hope the problem you are facing is nothing related to hardware. I will try to run some games later on to check if I experience the same.
Oh thanks mate, please keep me posted. This issue happened when iphone 12 pro was released. People were raving on the apple developers forum and they experienced the same issue when playing most of the games. I don’t who needs to fix this issue either apple developers or these game developers.
unfortunately not much information about this. Either we wait for the game developer to update, or iOS update will realize soon and fix this (hopefully the devs are gamers so they understand). However I tried force restart the device (by volume up, volume down, then power button), and it did fix the issue for a while, then the issue happened again.
True, I guess we will have to wait. Are you using US version or Global please?
The iPhone, right? It’s Hong Kong version I think, because it supports dual nano sim.
Oh ok. Because I heard US version do not have this problem. Anyway fingers crossed for the fix ASAP.
