I have apps that have disappeared from my iPhone Home Screen

I have apps that have disappeared from my Home Screen. I went to the App Store. It says they’re still “Open”, meaning they’re not deleted. If I go to “search” on my phone, I can see them, go to them, even use them, but never can find them on the home screen. The “App Store” is one that disappeared. I went to the App Store, which I found in my search. I searched “App Store” while in the App Store, itself & it would not bring up an App Store app to try & reload. How does one go about finding their apps? A couple are VERY important.

The App Store app is not one of the apps that can be deleted but it can be removed from the home screen. Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.


Another reason for it not being visible is due to a restriction on purchasing. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time, tap Content & Privacy Restrictions, tap iTunes & App Store Purchases, choose a setting and set to Allow. See: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201304#prevent-purchases
