After I upgraded my Intel Macbook Pro to macOS Moterey the trackpad stopped working. When I turn the Macbook on, it works in the screen where we have to input the password. But after that, it just stops working.
Does anyone know how to fix it?

Ummm ... Could this option have been accidentally triggered ?

Ignore built-in trackpad when mouse or wireless trackpad is present did the trick! I unchecked it and now my trackpad is working. Still wondering why I cannot use this feature when my mouse is connected. Anyway, I am happy I got the trackpad back. Thanks a lot!
In fact, it was definetly triggered. But in Big Sur it has never been an issue. So I connected an usb mouse and unchecked that option you mentioned. Now everything is working just fine. Thanks I lot.

I double checked tick on and off, unpluged my mouse and trackpad is working like it used to before - not with mouse connected, working without mouse in
