Better to backup iPhone in the cloud or on iMac?
Is it better to backup my iPhone on the cloud or on my iMac?
iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 12
If you have more than the 5GB of free iCloud storage probably the cloud as you can do it even when your away from your Mac.
If you only have the 5GB of free iCloud space you may not have enough room for the backup.
My backups are 12.5GB in size so I can't use the free iCloud Storage. Since I'm retired I'm near my iMac and backup to it.
Backing up to iCloud will be slower than to your Mac.
