It is not an Apple branded adapter. There is no Apple branded adapter for hdmi. But it was bought from the Apple store and it is supposed to be compatible with the MacBook Pro 2020 M1. It is the Satechi USB-C Multiport Pro.
Sorry, I did see that there was one. Scratch previous remark. But it is the satechi.
