Default settings ( Arrange )

Is there any way to change the default settings for Arrange?

When I insert a new image, the settings are

-Move with Text

-Automatic

I want to change it to

-Stay on Page

-None

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

Pages default object arrangement I really find the default "Automatic" text wrap setting completely annoying when working with objects. With every import of text or objects, I have to go into the Format/Arrange/Text Wrap setting to change "Automatic" to "None." Why is Automatic the default? Is there any way to change the default setting for those of us working with several objects?

Pages: control default object placement I would like to set Object Placement to use Stay on Page by default. I know how to set it, overriding Move with Text, but have to do so for each of the many items I paste.

Text wrap in Pages I'm having trouble making text wrap around an image. Arrange > Automatic and Arrange > Around do not do it. I searched online and others have buttons for Stay on Page and Move with Text. My version doesn't have it. My version of Pages is apparently up to date, so I can't update it. Help?

Nope. You can send feedback directly to the Pages product team about this from the Pages application menu.
