AirPods connection problem

My AirPods won’t connect. I have to reset to them every time to connect. Why are they not connecting automatically or connecting through Bluetooth?

AirPods will not connect I have trouble with only one AirPods working, so I deleted the blue tooth setting to try and totally reset them and not I can the blue tooth to even get recognized. Any suggestions?
