Text messages not delivered

I have iPhone 12 and some messages to multiple recipients are not delivered. I can’t see a pattern to it. Sometimes they go through to a group, sometimes they don’t. Any help much appreciated.

start here If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Also contact your cell phone provider, MMS is their feature.
