iCloud photos

i turned off my iCloud photos not realizing my photos would disappear from my device. So I turned it back on but I still haven’t gotten any photos from iCloud to show in my phone?? Help!?

Wait-it-Out:

They would only disappear if they were not downloaded. So, download them. Note that this can take some time, so you may just have to give it a few, waiting-it-out, until all is transferred.
