Touch Bar keeps disappearing

I own a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro running Big Sur 11.6

I have my Touch Bar configuration set as volume, brightness, screen record, App Library and, extension arrow.

If I use the extension arrow on the Touch Bar, it will disappear. The only way to get it back is to restart the Mac.

Does anyone know something to remedy the issue.

on the M1 SoC if you still have an issue—

The best you can do— Shut down, close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal.

If no resolve try SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262 to sort anomalies.
