Importing music to Itunes
When I download music files from the internet, iTunes doesn't automatically import the files anymore nor does it allow me to drag and drop from my desktop.
How do I get around this?

I've used this site for a long time and nothing has changed and then out of the blue, I can't get it into iTunes!
Maple, Do your old MP3s still work in iTunes? if so, I would observe that your converter used to make MP3s compatible with iTunes and now it does not. Not so clear that "nothing changed."

Maple Hollows,
"The internet" is a big place. :-) What is the source and format of the problem music files? Do you download them directly as audio files, or do you do a conversion?
Im having the same problem, Im using a youtube to mp3 converter. I have been using this for years and now it doesn't automatically put it on my iTunes and I also can't import it manually. Ive tried using other converters and its the same thing.
Exactly the same as 'Bgerage' below, it's when i use a youtube conversion website.

I've tried importing, dropping into the 'automatically add to itunes/music' folder.
Yeah, you cant even drag mp3 into garageband anymore. This is literally one of the only reasons I use my macbook. It might be time to switch to windows cuz this is bs
I finally found a new downloader that works
