adobe reader won't run on Big Sur?

I just migrated to a new laptop and I can't open any adobe PDF's I tried looking for another version of reader and almost ended up with mac keeper instead. What should I look for to be able to access these files? Thanks

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

Apple's Preview application is included in Big Sur and will open most PDF. Alternatively, for those PDF that Preview has issues with, you can get the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC that is compatible with Big Sur. Do not download the Acrobat Pro DC trial.
