I was thinking of upgrading into a newer phone, and the same day I did some research on the phone I wanted, I dropped my phone from the bed while sleeping and it cracked slightly. You can, however you will have to declare that at the time of the trade-in AND you will obviously NOT get the full value of the trade-in due to the damage.
