Reset Apple Watch

My daughter forgot her passcode. Now we can’t reset it. We pushed the slide button so show the power off but it won’t allow us to power it off or find a reset button. Any suggestions?

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

To unpair and erase watch

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.
