Is anyone else having problems with photos taken with photographic styles on? Like spots with unnatural lights.
Here is a backlight picture I took with the “high contrast” style. Not sure if this is a defect of my iPhone 13 or just an image processing issue?

You might have HDR (High Dynamic Range) turned on which tends to distort the picture that way. Try turning it off if you have it on.

Did you crop this picture? Was the sun in the original uncropped picture?
If so, that's known as lens flare.
What is lens flare?
Yes, I did crop the picture but the sun was not in the original photo.
It could be just a veiling flare however, though the flaw seems quite outlined to me, and the quality loss is higher… as if contrast were exaggerated.
