My apps are not downloading to the screen. I can find them in search app. What’s the problem?
Why is my newly purchased app’s not downloading to my screen? I can find them in the App Store search.

Go to Settings->Home Screen->Newly Downloaded Apps, and make sure its set to "Add to Home Screen".
For the ones already downloaded, swipe all the way to your last home screen, then swipe once more to access App Library. You can look for the app there, and drag it back to a Home Screen.
