Import your iBooks Author book into Pages for Mac instructions on this site did not work/

You need Pages v10.1 or later to open and translate the iBooks Author document into a .pages document. Many of the interactive features that were available in iBooks Author are not available in Pages v10.1 thru v11.2. See Apple's document, Import your iBooks Author book into Pages for Mac.
