Apple ID lock email

Hello, I got an email stating that my Apple ID would be locked within 12 hours if I did not verify my identity. It has a reference number of #794827

Is this legit? Seems like I could be a hacker or spam, it says Apple ID will be suspended if not verified due to security reasons,

I don’t see anything on my Apple account now that I am logged in no messages, I don’t want to click in the email in case it’s spam!
