Trying to back up my IPad but I don’t know how to lock my screen. It should not be this difficult. Haven’t had this problem before. It would back up fine, but now it hasn’t been backed up since March 8th. What changed??

Locking the screen should be easy… just tap the Top (Sleep/Wake) button. Otherwise, your iPad will automatically lock at the lock-timeout configured in iPad Settings, or if you have a folio cover, when the cover is closed.
Do you perhaps have something other than simply locking the screen in mind?
