Screen time password reset

We have forgotten the screen time password for my son's phone. I want to adjust some settings and am not able to get past the password. I have tried resetting his phone but it requires the screen time password to reset. So I'm at a loss for what to do next. How do I recover or reset the password?

Hello. If you have forgotten your Screen Time passcode, it can be reset by following the instructions here.
