Get it from Apple:

To avoid scams and such, I'd recommend getting it directly from the Manufacturer: Apple. So, go to your local Apple Store, of get it on apple.com. If you necessary, contact Apple Support for assistance in finding the one that works for you.

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

There is NO possibility of a middleman doing a field-upgrade. A MacBook Pro has its boot drive soldered to the mainboard.

Regardless of who you buy it from, it will be custom-built for you in a a factory in China.
