You're right. It won't. Your phone is too old, too underpowered and not capable of running anything higher than iOS 12.5.4.

I currently have an iPhone 6s and my phone is some what up to date as it’s iOS 14.6. I understand why it’s incapable of iOS 15 but for iOS 14.8 I don’t see why my phone should be incapable

Thnk u for letting me know. I figured out the problem had to do with me hving too little space, I’ve cleared some space and managed to install iOS 15
