So when I FaceTime or call someone they can’t hear me but I can hear music on my phone

If you have a case on your phone, remove it and try again. Also see:

Why can’t I hear anybody while I’m on a call and when I FaceTime it fails..? I can’t hear anything when I’m on the phone on audio and when I try to FaceTime it doesn’t work it says it “failed” so why is that?
