I keep getting these notifications about warning for a virus from the calendar app, it takes me to a VPN app but it says I have to pay money for it to work, are the people who may be hacking trying to steal money and it’s not a real app?

Your phone has not been compromised, it's just a scam message designed to trick you into buying unnecessary software.
Delete spam calendars and events on iPhone

You have an app or website permission to send you calendar invites.
