My apple watch wont charge or turn on

my apple watch everytime i put it on the apple charging circle will show the apple logo for 3 seconds then go black for 3 sec and repeats. I tried resetting it but it just stays black when I hold in the side button. Any suggestions?

Apple Watch will not charge My Apple Watch has been off for several months . I tried to charge it to no avail . When I place it on the charger the Apple logo pops up . It will continue to periodically flash the Apple logo but nothing else happens . Can anyone help ?
