IF I GET IT FREE FOR1 YEAR, WHY IS THE TV+ ASKING FOR MY CREDIT CARD TO PAY FOR A "TRIAL"?

You only get the extended free period if you have recently bought a new Apple device, and it's now three months, not a year (and has to be started within 90 days of purchase). Otherwise the free trial is 7 days. You are asked for a credit card because it will be automatically charged after the free period, and it's up to you to cancel it if you don't want to pay for it.
