I spilt water on my macbook

I spilt water on my MacBook, like a handful I’d say, and this was probably stupid but it happened during my online class so I didn’t even think to turn my laptop off cause it was still working but then after my class, about an hour later, I realized that was probably bad so I’ve shut it down now and it’s sitting upside down and it seems there’s water seeping out of it and my question is, is my laptop going to okay and what do I do?
