macOS Sierra 10.
Hello I want to add Microsft Word to my computer. However I cant update my software. I currently have macOS Sierra 10. Do you know if I'm able to update my software in order to get these apps?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and if your MacBook Pro model is recent enough, click on Mojave, Catalina, or Big Sur. It needs to be at least a 2012 one to run Mojave and the current version of Microsoft Office.
Alternatively, switch to a product such as LibreOffice.
