I'm trying to set up an attendance sheet for my new martial arts class and I'd like to have the date inserted automatically but I can only get it to do this with a daily increment and I would like it to be weekly as in each Wednesday when I run my class.

Method 1.
Type the first date in A2
Formula in A3: A2+7
(Numbers assumes that 7 means 7 days).
Hover the cursor over the the bottom border of A3 and drag the Fill Handle (yellow dot) down.
The formulas are copied down. You may want to Copy those cells and Menu > Edit > Paste Formula Results.
Method 2.
Type the first two dates and select both cells.
Drag the yellow dot down.
In Method 2, no formulas are involved. No need to Paste Formula Results.

Is it possible to get numbers to insert a weekly date instead of a daily date?
