Microsoft Word is no longer available. It says "you can no longer open Microsoft Word because it may be damaged or incomplete

After my last software update I am no longer able to use Microsoft Word. It says that it may be damaged or incomplete. How can I restore this app?

Microsoft allows for re-installations. Your may have to work with them if you run into licensing issues but I've always found them very helpful and willing help.
