Unable to redeem iTunes card

Hi,

I have an Apple account that I created when I was in France.

Today I bought in Belgium an "Apple Store and iTunes card" of 50€ to recharge my Apple account but it told me "this code must be use in the belgian store".

How to use my pre-paid card bought in Belgium for my french Apple profile, I thought it was international ...?
